The TX Spod & Marker is Shimano’s entry level range that offers great value for money, combined with impressive performance. Cosmetically complementing the TX carp rod range, there are two lengths of powerful spod rods and a lighter marker rod for accurate feature finding.
If you want a low cost, high performance spod rod for occasional spodding, the TX Spod in either 12’ (3.66m) or 13’ (3.96m) is sure to impress you. The 5.00lb test curve ensures you can use the largest spods and Spombs with complete confidence, to feed accurately at long range. For feature finding and marker float use there is a lighter 3.00lb test curve marker rod that will enable you to accurately assess the lake bed in great detail or place a marker float at distance for accurate feeding.

Built on Full Carbon blanks, the TX Spod and TX Marker offer outstanding value for money and make excellent products in their own right. Cosmetically they complement any of the TX carp rod range and deliver excellent casting performance. The spod rods have powerful 5.00lb test curves to cope with the largest spods, whilst the lighter 3.00lb test curve TX Marker rod offers the required sensitivity to effectively search the lake bottom at long range.
