Hi-Viz Winder bungs from Middy not only allow you to fine-tune the tension of your elastic by winding it on and off to your requirements, they have an added advantage too - the screw-in bung retractor can be extended to any length you want, meaning that now you can fish a short piece of elastic with the bung well up the section (hollow elastics work better at short lengths in the pole) without having to worry about how you will get it out of the section when it's time to replace your elastic.
