• A simple fact with clip down rigs where the snood line is usually a lower breaking strain than the rig body is that the snood stretches considerably more during the cast! In consequence, after a few casts the snood will be too long to clip down and the rig will no longer function.

• To prevent this, the Genie SRT Spring compresses during the cast, reducing the stretch in the line and so helping to maintain the snoods original length, cast after cast. 

• The SRT Spring also keeps the hook under optimum tension in the bait clip during the cast and gives dynamic release!
